When can I move into my storage unit?
You can move in immediately after completing the lease agreement.

What are the initial costs to rent a unit?
Simply one month’s rent. There are no other costs to rent a unit.

Do I need to sign a long-term agreement?
No, we rent on a month-to-month basis.

Is there an on-site manager? Can I come to look at a unit before I rent?
Yes. We have an on-site manager available seven days a week from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. We encourage customers to come and take a look at the units to give you a better idea which unit would be best for you.

What are your hours of access?
We offer 24-hour access with the purchase of a gate card.

What size unit do I need?
That depends on the amount of contents you have and how well you can pack the unit. In general terms an 8 x 30 unit will accommodate a three-bedroom house.

Do I need to purchase insurance?
Yes, you are responsible for insuring your belongings. We do not provide insurance coverage of any kind on your behalf. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance coverage.

Why do some storage facilities have a four week rental term? 
They do it to generate more revenue and as a result you will pay 13 month’s rent in one calendar year. Our rental term is one full month. If you rent on the 10th of the month your rent is due on the 10th of the following month. If you don’t understand this concept, please call our office for an explanation.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?
No, we do not require a security deposit to rent a unit.

Are there any hidden costs?

There are no hidden costs. Other than your monthly rent, the only other costs to get started are a lock which you can purchase from our office if you do not have your own and an after hours gate card if you need one.

Do I have to give 30 days notice to vacate the unit?
We ask that you please provide 30 days notice to vacate a unit, however we do not charge a penalty fee if notice is not given. We ask customers kindly advise us when they have vacated or are planning to, so we can stop charging monthly rent.

Will you refund prepaid rent?
Yes, we will refund unused prepaid rent once you have vacated.
